5 Super Simple Ways To Market Your Real Estate Biz, BETTER! (+ get more clients)

Marketing your real estate business doesn’t have to be hard. Chances are you’re already doing something (or several things), but we can always do it better. In today’s post, I’m going to share with you 5 super simple ways to market your real estate biz, better! (+ get more clients in the process!)

P.S. I’m not a marketing expert but I do run a real estate and an online business, so today I’m sharing what I’ve learned works for me!

No.1: KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO.

Remember if you talk to everyone, you talk to no one. Trying to be everything to everyone will get you nowhere.

In order for you to stick in a saturated market, you need to become an AUTHORITY based on YOUR personality, YOUR purpose, and YOUR defined promise of what you’ll deliver to your customer.

Getting SPECIFIC will make it easier to advertise your services and EXPLAIN exactly what you do.

If you don’t know who you’re targeting, answering the following questions might help you get your brain juices going and to get more clarity on who you are trying to attract and talk to.

The following questions will help you identify your niche and your place in the market.

  1. What SPECIFIC problem do you solve?
  2. WHO do you serve?
  3. HOW are they going to feel/experience when they work with you?
  4. What is in there for them when they choose YOU  vs your competitors? { BENEFIT}

After you answer these questions, create your Unique Value Proposition statement below. The following formula might help you do that.

Formula:

{ DESIRED RESULT} in { Length of time to deliver it} even if {insert  objection 1}, { insert objection 2} or/and

{ insert objection 3}.

Example:

You Home Sold in 27 Days or Less even if you have no clue where to start from, you never sold a home before or you’ve tried to sell before and it did not sell.

Now, write down your VALUE Statement.

No.2: STICK TO ONLY 1 to 2 SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

Know who you are targeting, ask yourself where they are hanging on social, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn.

I want you to constraint to One or Maximum 2 Social media Platforms and Go ALL IN there.

Why?

Because if you want to stay consistent and make an impact, you really need to be constraining, trying to be everywhere will get you nowhere. You’ll spread yourself too thin and you’ll quit at the end. Start small with one and then grow out to other platforms.

Remember: LESS is really MORE here.

Write Down Your Social Media Platform:

  1. ___________________________   2. ________________________

No.3: OPTIMIZE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES

Make sure your social media profiles are optimized.

THINK:

  • Your Profile Photo
  • Your Cover Photo
  • Your Specialty
  • Your Value Statement
  • Your Call to Action
  • Easy way for people to contact you.
  • Be consistent throughout your social media profiles.

No. 4: SHARE BETTER CONTENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

First, make sure your content is focused on your potential client & not on you!

Second, make sure you’re producing value-based content.

Value-based content is giving away information that someone can go and get a quick win. Ask yourself: “How are they going to learn to both trust you and see you as an expert?”

What tips, tools, tricks and hacks you can share that your audience can appreciate and it will make you more memorable AND make them feel like you’d be a great hire when the time comes.

Last, have a Call to Action on Every. Single. Post.

Why do we need a Call To Action every time you post?

So that we open up a 2-way conversation, and create more opportunities for people to engage with us, and to build the like, know, and trust factor with our potential clients. We want to give them a reason to talk to us, and prompt them to open up to us surrounding a specific topic.

Don’t just expect people are going to respond, you’ve got to make it easy to engage with you by asking a specific question that’s on your topic.

No. 5: SHOW UP CONSISTENTLY!

No other strategy matters if you aren't showing up - consistently.

If you currently have NO CLIENTS or want MORE CLIENTS, and you’re not showing up consistently online, stop trying to figure out how to get better at writing content, captioning, using the right hashtags, and just start showing up.

Now here’s the thing...consistently doesn’t mean 7 days a week, or even 4 days a week. Pick a posting schedule that you KNOW you can stick to and do it!

The goal is NOT to burn yourself out.

The goal is to get seen in a way that works for your life right now. Whatever that looks like.

Now, let’s make it actionable and write down your posting schedule.

I will post _____________ per week on Mo Tu W  Th F Sat Su ( circle ) at ____ { insert time}.

Batching your content will save you a tremendous amount of time.

I’ve created a social media process that I am using over and over again now and allows me to create my 30 days of content ahead of time, and then I just show up for 30 minutes to reply to comments, DM’s etc or do FB Lives once weekly.

I am working on Workshop that I’m presenting on Tuesday, January 28th at 1:00 PM EST, where I’ll be sharing this exact process. You can learn more about what's included HERE.
